Welcome to the
web site of the Estate Planning and Trust Council of Long Beach (EP&TCLB).
EP&TCLB was organized for the purpose of promoting cooperation and sharing
of knowledge among attorneys, CPA's, financial planners, trust officers,
and insurance advisors who are active in the field of estate planning or
trusts. Membership is also open to other financial services professionals
who take an active role in estate planning on behalf of their clients. All
members are required to have at least five years experience in their profession.
(You may qualify for an Associate Membership if you have less than five
years experience - please be sure to check the appropriate area on the membership
application.)

“ The State Of Probate and No Contest Clauses”

Judge Roy Paul will speak on “The State Of Probate and No Contest Clauses” and will also have a Probate Attorney give a brief presentation in which she will describe her duties and responsibilities and the serious and important role she plays in the Probate process.
Judge Roy Paul attended the University Of Southern California and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1971. He served in the US Navy and reserves from 1971 to 1994. He also attended Western State College of Law and graduated in !977 passing the Bar.
He was appointed as a Municipal Court Commissioner in 1991 and in 2000 was elevated to Superior Court serving in Family Law, Civil Law and Probate Law.
Judge Roy Paul retired from the United States Naval Reserve in 1994 with the rank of Lieutenant Commander and he currently sits in San Pedro and Long Beach Superior Court in a Civil and Probate assignment.
