Come join us when we discuss privilege with all its intricacies as it appears across the professions.
- Are your Rules of Professional Conduct hard and fast or a slippery slope?
- When can your ethical obligations be in conflict with privilege?
- What are the exceptions when you are compelled to break privilege?
The panel will discuss recent changes in confidentiality requirements that affect all professional service providers. Whether you are governed by attorney-client privilege, FPA Code of Ethics, AICPA’s revised confidentiality rule and Sec. 7216, or even HIPAA, or NPPI standards, attendance will open your eyes to the various ways you may be inadvertently exposing your self and your firm to ethics violations.
Continuing Education Credit available for CPA, CFP, and MCLE. An Increasingly Hot Topic in Ethics that will qualify for MCLE Competence Issues CE credits!
